Save travel costs by going on a group trip
Ever thought
of having fun doing what you love most? Um I meant travelling. Who says you need to have all the dollars in
your bank account to have fun doing what you love? Let us take a short trip
right here as I tell you how exactly you can have that fun trip without
barriers.
Go on a
group trip. Yes a group trip. Now I am not saying take a crowd with you; hell
no. Who are your closest friends? I mean fun friends. People you know can make
the trip worthwhile for you? Chat or call them up. It could be a weekend or a
public holiday trip; there have to be an agreement on a convenient time
favourable for you and your friends.
By now their
responses should be “Yay, awesome idea” but then the issue of money comes up.
There are bills to pay and other responsibilities to take care of but hey,
there will always be something to take care of. Why not take the chance to have
some fun and relieve yourself off some stress?
Watched the comedy movie “Girl’s trip”? We all need those kind of
hilarious trips every once in a while. So to save cost, make sure you and your
friends talk about how much each person can contribute to the trip. When a
total budget comes up, make financial plans which should include the following;
·
Where are you going to have this fun?
Is it in a tourist
site, a festival or somewhere that thrills you? Add that to your budget.
·
Means of transportation: Are you using a personal car, flying,
hiring a private vehicle or going through public means of transportation? The
answer to these questions would be determined from how much your budget is.
·
Lodge: to save cost, lodge in a single and
spacious room. Trust me; it is always fun to spend the night with close friends.
Talking all through the night creates a much stronger bond and keeps you
updated on the current happenings on each other’s lives. Before travelling,
find out which good and affordable hotel you can lodge in the course of your
trip as well as feeding plans. To further save cost, lodge in a place with an ongoing
promo except the lodge is far away from the purpose of your event which would
make you spend more on additional transportation.
·
Fun activities: what do you intend to do in the
course of the vacation? List the fun activities involved and their cost
estimate and add it to the budget.
Now that you have made your financial plans, you will realise that you
don’t need much money to have a fun trip. A group trip can save you more
especially when you have the company of those closest to you. Um, did I miss
out anything? Let me know in the comment section.
